Vehicles between 4.5 metres and 5.5 metres wide will be required to park up in a designated pull over bay, and contact traffic control using the phone or UHF numbers shown on the electronic signage, to be escorted through the work site. To allow vehicles wider than 5.5metres access through the site, a minimum of 24hours notice before travel is required by contacting the project manager. Vehicles travelling under a permit must not travel off the approved route listed in their permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). Unless specified otherwise, operators of Class 1,2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternate route. Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
