About OzIncidents

Meet OzIncidents, an independent developer-run service for exploring published Australian incident and road information.

Built by independent developers

OzIncidents is operated by independent developers. We bring together available incident reports, warnings, road disruptions and regional updates published by Australian agencies, so you can explore reports in one place and find the original source.

We are independent of the agencies whose information we display. OzIncidents is not a government website, emergency response organisation or official warning service.

What we add

We organise published records into a searchable map and list, present available agency update times, and provide readable detail pages and links to official information. Where we capture changes, we show when our system first observed them. We do not independently verify conditions at the scene or issue emergency instructions.

Know the limits

Coverage differs by region, agency and report type. Some sources are unavailable or not connected. A map marker can be approximate; an empty map or missing report does not mean an area is safe. For decisions affecting your safety, use current information and instructions from the responsible official agency.

Read our sources and coverage and update method for details.
