Chifley Road Lithgow Lithgow Bell, Australia · SCHEDULED ROADWORK

Information

Road conditions and travel information

Live Traffic NSW has published a traffic update for Chifley Road Lithgow Lithgow Bell, New South Wales.

Road conditions

Transport is working proactively to increase the durability and resilience of Chifley Road and ensure it continues to provide a safe, resilient detour route while Victoria Pass is closed for road repair work. Night work will include installing safety barriers, heavy patching, laying asphalt and refreshing the line marking. This work will require a reduced speed limit and alternating (stop/slow) traffic conditions to allow motorists to pass in one direction at a time. Asphalting work at Scenic Hill may lead to delays of up to 20 minutes. To minimise the impact to motorists, work will be carried out at night from 7pm to 5am, Sunday night to Friday morning. No work on Friday and Saturday nights, or known peak travel days like public holidays or school holidays. Please exercise extra caution and follow the directions of signage and traffic controllers.

The source identifies this as a planned traffic event.

The source lists a speed limit of 40 km/h.
